Summary

P/T Female Support Worker / Driver

18hrs per week

Days will a Mon, Tues and Fri , Times to be discussed at interview

Rate of pay: £12.60 per hr

Essential - Female Driver with full clean drivers licence required

Duties:
To Assist a young lady with for social activities: Please note that this is a Non Smoking Household
Outgoing / Sociable / reliable person required to support a young adult transitioning from children services to adult services.

You will be required to push the young person in her wheelchair and assist her to join in with activities/clubs in her local area.

It is preferred that you have Makaton, but not essential if willing to learn
The young person is a sociable, happy young lady and is looking for someone to assist her to continue to live life to the full. She likes to be busy, she enjoys swimming, bowling going out walks meeting others, dancing and singing. She loves going on public transport and enjoys day trips.

She needs assistance with some personal care to dress/undress and to use the toilet.

***This position is subject to a 6 month probationary period, with a 1 weeks’ notice if the post isn't working out.

Please note that the family have one friendly dog.
