Summary
Sales Trainee Programme – The Tool Connection
Southam, Warwickshire, Full-time (37.5 hrs, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm)
The Tool Connection is a leading automotive aftermarket business supplying well-known brands including Laser Tools, Power-TEC, and Gunson.
We’re offering an 18-month Sales Trainee Programme designed to give you hands-on experience across the business. You’ll rotate through six core departments in 10-week blocks, plus three optional 6-week placements in areas that interest you.
What You’ll Experience
Customer Service
External Sales (Laser Tools & Power-TEC)
eCommerce & Marketing
Credit Control & Customer Accounts
Technical Support
Showroom & Fleet Management
Service & Repair
This is not just a desk role, you’ll gain real-world experience meeting customers, supporting sales operations, learning order processing, after sales care, and how finance and admin support the full sales cycle.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated mentor team, join regular trainee catch-ups, and develop key workplace and soft skills. Successful trainees will have the opportunity to move into a permanent role, with the option to undertake a Vocational Qualification.

We are searching for vibrant, enthusiastic candidates with a real desire to take on a new challenge and remain open minded during the programme. You will need to be keen to learn and versatile to adapt well to different work requirements within each department.
