Summary
Chargehand - Food Manufacturing
pladis - Waxlow Road, Harlesden, London, NW10 7NY
48 Hours Per Week - Saturday - Thursday 2200-0700 (6 nights)
Rate Of Pay - £13.06 per hour
Manage operations
-Compliance - ensure all daily, weekly and periodic sign off sheets are completed and stored in line with client requirements
-Walk round entire site daily to check on operations
-Ensure QHSE compliance site wide, working closely with regional team
-Handle product contamination issues, glass breakages or pest activity
-Deal with customer complaints or concerns
-Observe all client and company statutory fire and safety regulations and promote good safety habits. Follow the Mitie Livesafe principles
-Manage the hygiene tasks scheduled on a daily basis
-Cover staff when they call in absent/holiday
What we are looking for
-Good communication skills
-Someone to work with the existing team and be a point of escalation
-Previous cleaning experience within a food manufacturing environment
-To be able to work with the client staff to help resolves any adhoc works
-Use initiative and work to a high standard of work.
-Report to supervisors and contract manager
