Expression of Interest: Apprentice Children’s Social Worker
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Are you interested in building a rewarding career in Social Care? We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for our Apprentice Children’s Social Worker programme, which offers a fully supported route into the profession and leads to qualified Social Worker status.
This two-and-a-halfyear apprenticeship combines handson experience within Children’s Social Care with structured academic learning and professional development. You will work alongside experienced practitioners while studying toward your Social Work qualification, giving you the opportunity to apply your learning in realworld situations from day one.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed, motivated, and ready to embark on a meaningful career. The programme provides seamless integration of study and practice, enabling you to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to support children, young people, families, and carers across Bury.
The Social Work Apprenticeship is an alternative route into the professionbut not a different qualification. On successful completion of the programme, you will achieve a BA (Hons) in Social Work and will have the opportunity to apply for a Social Worker role within Bury’s Children’s Social Care services.
If you are dedicated to helping others, eager to learn, and interested in a structured path to becoming a qualified Social Worker, we would love to hear from you.
