Summary
After School Club Leader - Part-Time, Term-Time Only (15 hrs/week)
Location: East Farleigh, ME15
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to lead our After School Club for primary school children aged 4–11.
This role is based at East Farleigh Primary School and involves working weekday afternoons during term time only.
Hours: 15 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday club hours 3:15pm - 5:30pm and additional hours for daily setup/pack-down, administration and meetings.
Pay: £13:00–£13.50 per hour
Contract: Term-time only
Main duties:
• Supervising children in a safe and supportive environment
• Planning simple games, activities and crafts
• Leading a small team of staff
• Managing behaviour positively
• Liaising with parents and school staff
• Completing basic records and safety checks
Essential requirements:
• Experience working with children (primary age)
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and organised
• Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or similar (desirable)
• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
