Summary
The ADHD Service Lead (Non-Clinical) will provide operational leadership and management for the ADHD service, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centred service delivery in line with contractual, regulatory, and governance requirements. Working closely with the Clinical Lead, the post holder will support service performance, workforce coordination, and service development, while holding no clinical responsibility for assessment or treatment decisions. The role includes leading day-to-day service operations, overseeing referral and pathway management, monitoring capacity, demand, and performance against agreed KPIs, and producing performance and activity reports. The Service Lead will support service planning to improve access and sustainability. The post holder will provide line management and supervision to non-clinical staff, coordinating recruitment, induction, rotas, training, and workforce planning, while promoting staff wellbeing and a positive, inclusive working environment. The role also involves supporting governance and quality processes, including incidents, complaints, risk management, audits, and service reviews. The Service Lead will lead or contribute to service improvement initiatives, support the implementation of new pathways and digital systems, and facilitate service user feedback and co-production. Acting as a key operational point of contact, the post holder will liaise with commissioners, primary care, and partner organisations, and represent the service at operational and contract review meetings. The role requires effective use of data and information to support service monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.
