Summary
• To lead the Practice Nursing team in all aspects of the delivery of high quality services • Writing, approving, disseminating and reviewing of appropriate policies and protocols • Infection Control and COSHH Lead, including Clinical Waste • Working with QOF manager to achieve targets • Line Manager to the Nursing Team, including appraisal and revalidation functions • Chairing monthly nurse meetings and completing minutes • Completing relevant audits and monitoring e.g. of fridge temperatures, vaccine stock, infection control • Overseeing the ordering of stock including dressings and vaccines and checking of stock levels and expiry dates
