Summary
The Role You will provide high-quality General Medical Services in accordance with GMC standards, delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care. Responsibilities include: Responsibilities include: Routine and urgent clinical consultations, delivered within safely structured clinics 15-minute standard appointment times, supporting safe clinical decision-making and continuity of care Telephone and digital consultations, appropriately allocated within the session structure Reviewing results and clinical correspondence with protected administrative time Prescribing safely in accordance with national and local guidance Contributing to practice clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activity Supporting trainees and contributing to the practices established training environment Sessions are designed to be safe, sustainable, and professionally rewarding, with: 15-minute appointments as standard Protected administrative time within each session Manageable workload supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team Appropriate clinical support from GP Partners and senior clinicians You will be employed under a BMA-aligned salaried GP contract, with terms and conditions no less favourable than the BMA model contract, including: Competitive sessional rate, reflecting experience and professional standards Paid CPD leave and protected CPD time Paid study leave in line with professional requirements NHS Pension scheme Structured clinical support and ongoing professional development We are committed to supporting both newly qualified and experienced GPs to develop professionally, including opportunities in: Minor surgery Extended access clinics (optional participation) Teaching and supervision Development of specialist clinical interests Leadership and service development
