Summary
Accurately clinically code data into the patient record on the clinical system Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action Inputting and extracting data as required to support practice reports, audits and to capitalise upon both patient safety and QOF income Scanning patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records Highlight all timely actions, changes to patient care and management to the relevant clinician File and store records as required Action all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner Input data into patients healthcare records as necessary Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested Undertake a broad spectrum of administrative duties commensurate with the role Be an integral part of the general practice team Be aware of duties and responsibilities regarding current legislation and adhere to practice policies and procedures on safeguarding adults and safeguarding children Support in the delivery of enhanced services and other service requirements Undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes Contribute to and embrace the spectrum of clinical governance
