We are recruiting on behalf our client for an exceptional Registered Manager based in Hull. The company provide homecare and respite services for individuals with a range of complex care needs and are introducing supported living and day care services to their portfolio.
The Registered Manager will initially oversee the 5-bed respite care service for young adults with complex needs with responsibility increasing to include wider developments, including 17 purpose-built bungalows to provide additional respite beds, supported living and the operation of a day care service alongside the respite provision.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the provision of high quality, individualised care and have a strong background in management within complex care and supportive living, with a good understanding of CQC, Clinical Governance and Safeguarding. Level 5 Care Management Qualification is desirable or willingness to work towards this.
This will be an exciting time to join the dedicated and established team and to be instrumental in a period of expansion and growth.
Key responsibilities
• Provide leadership in the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality, person-centred care service
• Oversee and quality-assure care plans, risk assessments, and reviews
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and clinical governance
• Act as main point of contact for service users and families, managing feedback with clarity and compassion
• Liaise effectively with external healthcare professionals including GPs, district nurses and therapists
• Lead on safeguarding, incident management, and continuous improvement
• Support the recruitment, supervision, training, and development of Care Professionals
• Contribute to the development of services, including additional respite beds, supported living, and day services
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and values-led staff culture
This is a full time, permanent post and offers a starting salary of £30,000, increasing to £35,000 following successful probation. Longer-term once the role has developed the salary has the potential to increase to circa £45,000.
