Are you an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding long‑term role within a supportive and lively school environment? Hays Education are working in partnership with a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Rotherham to recruit a dedicated teacher to provide PPA cover for their Year 6 class.
The Role
You will be delivering high‑quality teaching across upper KS2, covering Year 6 PPA time across three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday). This long‑term assignment will begin in February and continue through to July, offering consistency for both pupils and staff.
What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Primary Teacher (QTS essential)
- Have significant experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong curriculum knowledge
- Be confident in delivering engaging learning to Year 6 pupils in preparation for end‑of‑KS2 expectations.
- Be available three days a week from February until the end of the school year
