One of our regions top performing employers are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to take ownership of branch results, deliver clear financial insights, and support the team with key reporting and analysis. You’ll play a hands-on role in driving performance, improving efficiency, and building strong relationships across the business.
What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?
Build and enhance modelling-led reports and dashboards, giving Sales and Ops self-serve access to key info and training them on usage.
Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting (customer, branch, function, KPIs), including creating new KPIs to support growth and productivity.
Analyse results to spot trends and highlight material variances vs plan and forecast, providing clear commentary on drivers.
Partner with senior managers and Directors to provide commercial insight, including pricing and customer/product profitability analysis to maximise revenue and margin.
Produce business cases for investment (property, people, product) and continuously improve reporting and modelling to drive efficiency.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:
• Part or Fully Qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW.
• Advanced Excel Skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a wider team.
• Challenging approach to work (looking to drive improvements through an understanding of root causes and how they can be effectively implemented)
• Previous demonstratable experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Partner/Advisor or Financial Analyst role.
