Summary
As our Director of Estates, you will work in partnership with the Deputy Principal Finance and Resources and as part of the College’s Senior Leadership Team. You will work collaboratively with both curriculum and support teams as well as working with external stakeholders such as contractor and local authorities.
This senior leadership role comes with significant influence. You will oversee all estates functions including caretaking, maintenance, cleaning, security and grounds maintenance, as well as looking after our fisheries department at Rodbaston College. You will be responsible for statutory health and safety compliance in areas such as fire, water, gas, electric, asbestos and other building regulations. You will also lead on the College’s carbon reduction and energy efficiency agenda.
We are looking for a strong leader with proven experience in managing a wide and varying estates in the education sector. You will bring outstanding communication skills, deep knowledge, and a track record of driving improvement and delivering measurable impact.
