Summary
Elective and Trauma Orthopaedics
We are looking to recruit a Registered General Nurse to join our established team . We offer the ability to work within elective and trauma orthopaedics.
Ward 12 is a 13 bedded Elective Unit for patients undergoing complex total hip and total knee replacement surgery.
WAFFU( Wirral Acute femoral Fracture Unit) is an 8 bedded admission unit which specialises in providing care for trauma patients with a fractured hip.
We offer excellent support with experienced mentors to those who are newly qualified.
To experienced nurses, we offer the opportunity to develop and utilise their clinical skills.
We encourage and support ongoing learning and development within the role.
• Assessment, planning and delivery of care for a caseload of patients.
• Liaise with all members of the multi disciplinary team and act as patient advocate to ensure high standards of care are achieved.
• Support and supervise junior staff and students with the education and development
• Assist in the day to day management of the Ward, ensuring standards are met.
