ABOUT THE POST
The School of Art, Architecture and Design (AAD) is recruiting a Studio Junior Technician to work with a range of courses we have in the School to support students' learning outcomes and projects.
You will provide technical support in the areas of 2D and 3D outcomes, analogue and digital imaging and 3D making for teaching and related activities within make. WORKS across the subject areas of Art, Architecture and Design within the School.
Working with technical colleagues, you will be actively supporting the safe use of technical equipment, techniques and processes to School students across a broad range of technical facilities in the School as well as supporting studio-based activity. You will contribute to providing appropriate organisational and technical support for academic programmes and pathways within the School.
In collaboration with technical colleagues, you will work strongly as a team to support academic staff and students. Knowledge in the breadth of making in academic programmes of study, supporting students and staff, will be in your skillset.
You will have a positive and proactive approach to your work and will be a committed team player. This is an ideal opportunity as a stepping stone into a career as a Technician in the School
