Cleaner – Temp to Perm
Location: Northern Gas Networks, Bond Street, Pontefract, WF8 2JJ
Client: Apleona – Pretium
Start Date: 27th February 2026
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 12:30pm (10 hours per week)
We are recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaner to work at a corporate office site in Pontefract. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent weekday hours.
Duties will include:
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
Emptying bins and waste disposal
Cleaning toilets, urinals and hand basins
Wiping desks, chairs and surfaces to remove marks and smears
Carpet vacuuming and spot cleaning
Operating electrical scrubbing and polishing machines where required
Internal window and glass cleaning
Replenishing consumables (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc.)
Carrying out periodic deep cleans and additional tasks as requested
Safe use of cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines
Moving light furniture and equipment for cleaning or reconfiguration
Requirements:
Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and maintain high standards
Professional attitude when interacting with site staff
