Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Control Centre Services to recruit 4x Control Centre Operators on a full-time, permanent basis. These roles are based within Swale Borough Council’s Community Safety Control Centre and offer the chance to be part of a professional, fast-paced, and supportive team.
The Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so these posts involve working a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, including nights, weekends, bank holidays and Christmas. Our team provides Public Space CCTV monitoring for Swale, Gravesham, Folkestone, and Ashford, alongside a range of commercial contracts.
This is an exciting time to join a growing service. In addition to CCTV operations, the Control Centre supports out-of-hours call handling, retail security, response services, and facilities management, offering a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You’ll be confident using IT systems, have strong communication skills, and be able to remain calm under pressure. We’re looking for people who can work independently, use their initiative, and deal effectively with straightforward issues as they arise.
