Summary
Looking for reliable and enthusiastic courier drivers due to expansion to join us based in Berkeley (GL13 9PP) We have FULL TIME permanent positions available. Working in a small friendly team environment. (Some possible early starts and late finishes not regular) Possibility some weekends work. Overtime available.
Delivering and collecting different commercial customer products both locally and nationwide, on a dedicated sameday basis. You will be driving a variety of vans including temperature controlled vehicles for a variety of prestigious customers.
You should have a flexible approach to working hours and be happy to drive nationwide distances at short notice.
Uniform provided and full training will be given where required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring vehicle allocated is kept in roadworthy clean condition and reporting any defects.
Assisting in loading customer goods onto vehicle (some lifting will be involved) and ensuring goods are safely loaded for transport.
Ensuring scheduled deliveries are completed on time utilising route planning tools and ensuring delivery paperwork is documented and correct.
Reporting back immediately any problems with delivery sites and or customers
EXPERIENCE:
Full UK driving license with no disqualifications and no more than 6 points - preferably minimum of a years previous van delivery driving experience.
