Summary
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Freelance / Associate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing private practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist who enjoys flexible working, mobile practice, and delivering high-quality, child-centred intervention across a range of settings.
You will be responsible for delivering occupational therapy services to children and young people aged 18 months to 18 years, working predominantly with a neurodiverse population. Sessions will take place in clients’ homes, schools, and clinic settings, depending on individual need.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality paediatric occupational therapy assessments and intervention
Create bespoke, individualised goals and therapy programmes tailored to each child and family
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals
Carry out mobile work across homes, schools, and clinic environments
Maintain clear, professional documentation and reports
Manage your own caseload effectively within a private practice setting
Essential Requirements:
A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration (or eligibility to register)
Minimum of 2 years’ paediatric experience desirable
Experience working with neurodiverse children
A full UK driving licence, access to a car, and appropriate insurance
Willingness to travel between settings as part of the role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A warm, energetic, and child-centred approach
