Summary

Your contribution will ensure we can continue to operate whatever disruption we face—whether that’s a pandemic, a power outage, or a cyber incident.

You’ll be part of a close-knit and diverse team, working with senior leaders and government to deliver priorities that matter.

The team

You will be part of the Organisational Resilience Team. We’re a national team within Strategy, Transformation & Assurance.

You’ll work with people across the business, supporting business continuity and organisational resilience activities.

We’re a very welcoming team that manages a diverse range of work. We work closely with Defra and wider government, giving you the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience in this role.

Experience/skills required

A strong track record of contributing to the design and implementation of new processes.
Ability to maintain effective systems that provide assurance and support smooth operational delivery.
Skilled in managing, organising, and maintaining data and information.
Confident in monitoring actions, risks, and issues, with sound judgement on when to escalate.
Proven ability to organise meetings, events, training sessions, and exercises.
Comfortable engaging and building relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Capable of drafting clear correspondence, responding to enquiries, and producing accurate meeting notes.
Adept at providing high‑quality administrative and secretariat support across a team.
Competent in producing training materials, briefing packs, management information, communications, and reports.
Knowledge of business continuity and organisational resilience is desirable and would be beneficial.
