Summary

People’s Voice is a lived-experience-led group of Disabled people working to influence change in Bristol. We are looking for Easy Read translators to make information accessible for people with learning differences.


This role is for someone with a learning difference or neurodivergent person who can apply their lived experience and expertise to the role. You will translate documents for customers, working to tight deadlines, and ensuring all work meets WECIL’s standard formats and processes. Easy Read translation training will be provided.


We are looking for someone who has:
- Lived experience of learning difference and/or neurodivergence,
- An understanding of Easy Read and a willingness to train to the standard needed,
- Ability to use a computer including Word,
Outlook, SharePoint and internet browsing.
- Ability to work to deadlines

Experience of Easy Read translation is desirable
