Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality and mixology while working in a dynamic setting. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers at the bar and tables
Take orders and provide recommendations on beverages and menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing
Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-equipped throughout shifts
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Follow health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service
Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Requirements
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as required
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn about drink recipes and customer service techniques
Must be aged 18 or over in accordance with licensing laws
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
