Your Opportunity
We are seeking an inspiring and highly effective SENCo to work in partnership with our Inclusion team and join our diverse and
inclusive school, part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust. Our school is proud of its exceptional Ofsted judgement and
strong outcomes, with inclusion at the heart of everything we do.
Guided by our values of Curiosity, Compassion and Courage this role offers the opportunity to lead and shape high-quality SEND
provision, holding statutory responsibility for EHCPs, annual reviews, assessment requests and multi-agency working. You will work
closely with staff to ensure excellent provision for pupils with SEND, provide professional guidance and coaching, and oversee
specialist and alternative provision.

The ideal SENCO will be someone who:
* Has experience and understanding of EHCPs
* Good understanding of EYFS
* Good Tech Skills
* Has an understanding of SEN code of practice & primary curriculum
* Is able to carry out 1:1 assessments and liaising with SLT and parent's/ guardians
* Can monitor teaching quality and pupil achievement
* Is able to undertake day to day coordination of SEN pupil's provisions through close liaison with staff, parents and external
agencies
* Is a great communicator, developing positive relationships with young children and adults
* Is committed to raise the achievement of all students of all abilities
* Is passionate and dedicated in helping children reach their academic potential
