Summary

Are you passionate about Nigerian cuisine and love hitting the open road? Our vibrant Nigerian restaurant is seeking a dedicated and reliable Chef to join our team! In this role, you'll be the face of our brand, delivering mouth-watering flavours and authentic dishes to our customers at various locations. As part of diversification and growth, Mokad Foods has now added inter-continental, Asian and Nigerian Fusion ready for distribution to bulk customers and retail outlets.

Responsibilities:
• Handle day-to-day operations of food preparations.
• Post shift organising, cleaning inside and out, counting inventory.
• Run the line.
• Fulfill customer orders and handle cash and cards transactions.
• Ability to work under pressure during fast-paced events while maintaining the highest food/product quality.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvements as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef.

• Assemble food products quickly, cleanly and to hygiene standards.
• Assemble and load all food and supplies for food delivery functions for the scheduled location(s).
• Ensure stocking of store with condiments, serving utensils, and napkins; refill condiment containers, utensils, and napkins as needed.
• Utilise approved food production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Attend to customers and retail outlets in an efficient and friendly manner and invite them back.
• Resolve customer concerns and represent company in a courteous and friendly manner in all customer interactions.

Other Requirements

• Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate as the minimum.
• Fluency in Punjabi and Urdu languages.
• A valid driver’s license.
• At least two (2) years in a food service environment – preferred.
• UK Residency or Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
