Reporting to: Area Lead / Nursery Manager
Qualification Required: Full and relevant Level 3 in Early Years

What Makes This Role Different?

As a Senior Practitioner, you will:

✨ Model outstanding practice in the room every day
✨ Lead by example, demonstrating high quality interactions and purposeful provision
✨ Support and mentor other practitioners, particularly apprentices and newer staff
✨ Help embed our curriculum and company ethos consistently across the setting
✨ Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of learning environments
✨ Contribute to planning, assessment and next steps at a deeper, more analytical level
✨ Work closely with the Manager and Area Lead to drive quality improvement

Key Responsibilities

Deliver inspiring, engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYFS

Ensure high quality teaching and learning across your room

Monitor children’s progress and support staff in identifying next steps

Promote inclusive practice and strong partnership with parents

Champion outdoor learning and Forest School principles

Support room organisation, routines and daily leadership

Contribute to reflective practice and continuous improvement
