Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housing Repairs Scheduler Planner (Sc6) to join our dynamic housing management team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling housing repair and maintenance activities, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard. As the main point of contact for repair requests, you will liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to prioritize and assign tasks based on urgency and availability of resources. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize scheduling software to effectively manage workloads, track progress, and ensure that services are delivered within agreed timeframes. Furthermore, you will be involved in monitoring the performance of contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with housing policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule housing repair requests in a timely manner.
Liaise with residents to understand repair needs and provide updates on the status of work.
Assign tasks to contractors and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
Monitor the progress of repair jobs and track performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
Utilize scheduling software to manage workloads effectively and make necessary adjustments.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of repair requests, schedules, and contractor performance.
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for housing repairs scheduling.
Requirements
Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or a similar role within housing or facilities management.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant IT tools.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Understanding of housing repair processes and related regulations.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
