Summary

Our client, a leading primary school in Tower Hamlets, Greater London, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to supporting the educational and developmental needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the early years foundation stage (EYFS).

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for our pupils. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other members of the school's SEND team to provide personalised support and interventions that cater to the unique needs of each child. This may involve assisting with activities, delivering tailored lessons, and implementing strategies to promote academic progress, social-emotional development, and independent living skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in SEND education, with a proven track record of working effectively with young children who have a range of additional needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, or physical disabilities. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach is essential, as you will be working with children who may require a high level of individual attention and support.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you may also be involved in planning and delivering enrichment activities, accompanying the class on educational visits, and contributing to the wider life of the school. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is, therefore, crucial.

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive daily rate of £95-£105, depending on your qualifications and experience. The school is committed to providing ongoing professional development opportunities to support your growth and enhance your skills.

If you are an experienced EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners with special educational needs, we encourage you to submit your CV for consideration. This job is being advertised on Senploy - the UK's favourite education and SEND job board.
