Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a Mobile Caretaker to work with a Housing Trust based in West London on a Permanent basis. The details of the job are below:
Hours: Full-time 36 hours 7.30am to 15.30pm Mon – Fri
Salary: £27,248 per year
Location: West London
Must have full clean driving licence company van will be provided.
Job Role
As a Mobile Caretaker, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping trust estates clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll travel across multiple sites, making sure communal areas are spotless, hazards are reported, and residents feel proud of where they live. With a company van provided, you’ll be out and about, making a visible difference every day.
What you’ll do
Provide cover for caretaking and gardening colleagues across our estate portfolio
Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and graffiti-free
Report repairs, vandalism, and safety hazards
Attend estate walkabouts to help tackle anti-social behaviour
Maintain refuse systems and carry out scheduled cleaning tasks
Perform safety checks, including emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
Work closely with the Estate Services Area Manager to keep everything running smoothly
What you’ll need
A valid UK driving licence
Great customer service and communication skills
Basic literacy and numeracy
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Physically fit and ready for hands-on work
A flexible, proactive attitude and a team-player mindset
Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
