Further details about the role
This role is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced leader looking for their next challenge. Brettenham and Fleecefield, like all our schools, are in Enfield. Both schools serve a community with high levels of deprivation and where most children have English as an additional language. The schools are perfectly located (within thirty meters of each other) for an executive role, the close proximity means working across the two is made easier.
Brettenham is a two form entry school, while Fleecefield is a two form, moving to one form entry school with a sixteen place, expanding to thirty place, unit for children with complex needs.
We are looking for someone to build on the work of our current Executive Headteacher, developing and implementing a clear vision for how the schools can work more closely together to ensure the very best provision for both schools, through working together, sharing expertise maximising efficiencies through resource sharing.
Commitment to safeguarding
Children First Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Prior to appointment, the successful applicant will be required to pass our vetting checks including social media checks and an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. If you have lived abroad, you will need to provide an overseas criminal record certificate.
