Grade: G04 - SCP 15 to 20Salary From £30,024 to £32,597 pro rata for term time only, plus 5 daysPlas Derwen is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, empathetic and skilled Outdoor Learning HLTA / Pastoral Support worker to work within the team. This is an important post, working with pupils experiencing Behavioural, Emotional and Social difficulties across our sites within Flintshire. The role will involve liaison with pupils, parents, school staff and outside agencies where appropriate. Together we work to support our pupils to reach their full potential and to access a meaningful education. Training and support will be provided for the successful candidates. This is a great opportunity to gain a varied position working within Plas Derwen to support learners across Flintshire. Further enquiries are welcomed by the school. The post is for 32 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 training days. As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children, and/or vulnerable adults the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check.
