As a Teaching Facilitator at Harrogate Campus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of apprentices. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of high quality lessons within a workshop and classroom environment. You will be required to support the design and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience and ensure that students are well-prepared for a career in the construction sector.
Overall, this role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for construction education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, industry partners, and the broader community.
What You Will Do
Support the planning and delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment within a workshop and classroom environment.
Support the development of effective schemes of work, lesson plans and practical learning resources.
Support the assessment of learner work, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate progress records.
Set and monitor SMART targets to support learner achievement and progression through apprenticeship reviews.
Motivate and support apprentice learners to develop practical skills, knowledge and positive behaviours.
Participate in course promotion, recruitment activities and examination processes
Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and professional standards.
About You
Strong knowledge in construction subjects.
Hold or be willing to work towards an assessors qualification.
Organised, professional and able to meet assessment, marking and reporting deadlines.
A strong team player with a commitment to continuous professional development.
Flexible and willing to support recruitment, examinations and occasional evening.
