Summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced ICT Service Delivery Engineer to join our Infrastructure Support Team. In this role you will develop and manage the College network / telecom systems and ICT infrastructure, always ensuring robust and reliable services that support the needs of the College staff and students.The team is a highly technical and experienced department within the College, supporting and developing an extensive range of ICT facilities, working within an ITIL framework to support a diverse user community.To be successful you must hold: a Degree or equivalent (Level 6 qualification) in a related discipline, or demonstrate a range of relevant experience within an enterprise network environment, significant and proven technical support experience, together with a desire to resolve issues to root cause under minimum supervision.Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent).The role requires a clear analytical logical approach to problem solving along with good interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a diverse technical team across multiple sites is essential to the role.Experience in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems is essential, whilst the following technologies would be desirable: O365 Management, VMWare, Meraki, Fortinet/Fortigate Firewalls and SCCM. Experience of managing, deploying, and maintaining Layer 3 networks is also advantageous.
