Summary

Head of Curriculum (Advanced Construction and Engineering)

Role Description

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Head of Curriculum for Advanced Construction and Engineering to lead and develop our Vocational Study Programmes, Technical Qualifications and Apprenticeships.

Reporting to the Assistant Principal, you will provide motivational leadership and day-to-day management of the curriculum team, ensuring outstanding quality of teaching, learning and student experience. You will play a key role in delivering College objectives and driving continuous improvement across the department.

As a member of the College Management Team, you will actively promote the College's purpose, vision, values and behaviours, contributing to its strategic direction. This is a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a clear, future-focused vision for the Curriculum Function-one that secures its long-term position within the community and transforms the prospects of local learners and businesses.

You will lead the department through a changing external landscape, responding to opportunities, maximising income generation and building strong partnerships with employers and external agencies, while maintaining an exceptional learning experience for all stakeholders.
