The Andor Holding Group, located in Glenrothes, is looking to expand the team within Appointeeship. This is a fast growing department, supporting clients throughout the UK. We are dedicated to making our clients lives easier and do our best by them.

Good communication and office based skills are preferred.

A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Please Note: The annual salary is paid pro rata, depending on agreed working hours. This will be discussed at interview.

In brief the role which needs to be carried out is:

To administer the accounts of vulnerable clients to enable to live as independently as possible.
To check and validate information received, liaising with agencies and organisations as required to ensure client is in receipt of the correct benefit and to make claims as appropriate.
Regularly review clients finances to support the client to make realistic choices, with involvement of social care staff as appropriate.
To carry out checks on accuracy of invoices and appropriate authorisations are received for requests for money and make prompt payment to suppliers using appropriate IT systems.
To respond to and manage the numerous and varying concerns and requests made by the clients on a daily basis.
To make applications for Appointeeship to the Dept of Work and Pensions or for Deputyship to the Office of the Public Guardian and liaise with OPG visiting officers as required.
Communicate closely with care home managers, making sure correct amount of Living Expenses are received, and make funds available for other expenses.
To manage debts incurred by client.
To reconcile client accounts on a monthly basis to ensure strong financial control and for audit purposes.
To liaise and communicate effectively and sensitively with customers and their representatives, other agencies, and all levels of staff in connection with the client, including their relatives, visits to other teams and attendance at meetings.
Support SW teams and Police on financial fraud cases.
