Role Overview:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth and delivering exceptional results across Scotland and
the North East of England. You’ll be responsible for shaping strategy, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the
region achieves its ambitious revenue targets. This role is all about leadership, strategic thinking, and fostering a culture of
excellence.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

* Manage and increase sales in a well-established area, as well as identify new customers
* Achieve area sales and profit targets as agreed by the company
* Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
* Manage your own time to ensure you gain maximum productivity to achieve goals and targets
* Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
* Present, promote and sell products through existing customer base and potential new customers
* Maximise profit by upselling and promoting the whole range of goods, with particular focus on higher margin product / brands
whilst maintaining core business
* Analyse trading accounts, cross reference all aspects of those accounts to improve customer trading performance, by using the
company reporting system
* Build and maintain trading relationships with manufacturers and use to your advantage and that of our trading partners
* Liaise with appropriate depots where necessary to ensure highest level of customer service is provided and feedback any matters
that may affect company performance
* Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor, and market activities, along with any
potential for new products and services
* Keep customer records, call plans and call note’s up to date via the company CRM system
* Gain a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them

Previous Experience

* Proven track record in senior-level sales leadership roles, ideally within a multi-site or regional structure.
* Experience managing P&L and delivering significant revenue growth.
* Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic customer relationships.
* Background in leading and developing high-performing teams.




Skills and Knowledge

* Strong commercial acumen with excellent understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of CRM systems and digital sales tools.

* Ability to travel regularly across regional sites
* Full UK driving licence.
