We’re looking for a commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead high‑impact B2B campaigns in a technical, fast‑moving environment. Working under the direction of the Head of Marketing, this is a hands‑on mid-level marketing manager role where you’ll turn strategic priorities into clear, effective marketing activity across digital channels, content, events, PR and partner initiatives.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders and sales teams to shape targeted sector campaigns, manage digital and automation activity, coordinate external partners and communicate complex solutions in a clear, compelling way. Creativity, strong messaging and a focus on measurable commercial results are key.

You’ll oversee multi‑channel campaign delivery, digital and email activity, sector initiatives, partner marketing and event participation, continually improving performance through data‑led insights and modern marketing tools. This role would be suitable for someone who has gained some marketing management experience already but is still happy to work under the direction of a more senior level leadership and continue to build your experience.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be…

Campaign Planning & Delivery
• Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that support wider business and sector objectives.
• Oversee digital activity, including email marketing and paid channels, ensuring effective execution and optimisation.
• Coordinate PR, content and creative output with external partners to maintain high-quality delivery.
• Track campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations to improve results and return on investment.

Sector & Commercial Marketing
• Support the rollout of marketing plans across key industry sectors.
• Work closely with commercial teams to identify and engage priority audience groups and decision-makers.
• Manage collaborative marketing initiatives with strategic partners.
• Organise company participation in industry events, including planning, logistics and post-event follow-up.

Content, Brand & Creative
• Create compelling campaign messaging and creative concepts aligned to commercial goals.
• Translate technical or complex information into clear, engaging and value-led marketing content.
• Brief and manage external creative suppliers to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
• Maintain brand standards across all marketing activity and communications.

Employer Brand & Internal Communications
• Support employer brand initiatives and early careers activity in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Assist with internal communications to strengthen engagement and reinforce brand values.

Reporting & Optimisation
• Monitor key campaign metrics such as engagement, lead generation and pipeline contribution.
• Assist with reporting on marketing spend and overall performance.
• Use data insights and digital tools to continually refine and enhance campaign effectiveness

The Candidate:

We’re looking for someone who brings a strong blend of creativity, commercial focus and structured execution. The ideal candidate will have experience operating in B2B environments with longer sales cycles and more complex offerings and will feel confident engaging with technical or specialist stakeholders.

Essential Experience
• Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally within technical, engineering, manufacturing or similarly complex sectors
• Strong background in planning and delivering integrated, multi‑channel campaigns
• Confident using CRM and marketing automation tools
• Experience managing digital activity across email, content, paid channels and partner marketing
• Ability to translate technical or complex solutions into clear, compelling marketing messages

Core Skills & Attributes
• Excellent written communication and messaging capability
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
• Commercially aware, performance‑driven and comfortable working to measurable outcomes
• Collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset with the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
• Organised, proactive and able to take ownership of campaign delivery from concept to execution

Personal Qualities
• Creative thinker with a structured, disciplined approach
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on role within a growing marketing function
• Ambitious, motivated and keen to contribute to a business with clear opportunities for progression
