Join Our Hospitality Team at Exeter Airport
Are you energetic, personable, and ready to deliver outstanding service in a bustling airport bar environment? Tor Bar at Exeter
Airport is searching for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our vibrant team. We are currently looking for team to join
us from April to September for the summer flight schedule. Please note applicants must be aged 18 or over due to licensing laws
and must have access to transport due to the early nature of the shifts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Welcome and serve guests at Tor Bar, providing a warm and positive experience for travellers from all over the world
* Take and deliver orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring prompt and professional service at all times
* Demonstrate excellent product knowledge, offering recommendations from our bar menu and highlighting regional drinks and local
favourites
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, restock supplies, and assist with setting and resetting tables
* Uphold strict health, safety, and hygiene standards, with comprehensive training provided
* Work as part of a supportive team, assisting colleagues across other hospitality units when required
SHIFT INFORMATION & PREMIUM PAY
* Shifts can start as early as 2:30am and may include late finishes to accommodate airport schedules
* Time and a half pay premium for hours worked between 12:00am and 6:00am
* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential
* Reliable transport to Exeter Airport is required for early, late, or overnight shifts
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Must be 18 years or older (licensing requirement for alcohol service)
* Previous experience in hospitality, bars, or customer service is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn
are most important
* Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure while maintaining a friendly, helpful approach
* Excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of engaging with people
* Dependable team players who value punctuality and reliability in a fast-paced airport setting
