Are you looking for a consistent role within one primary school where you can build relationships and make a real impact?

Do you enjoy helping pupils feel confident, supported and ready for the transition to secondary school?

I’m Dan, and I’ve been working closely with primary schools for the past two years supporting their recruitment needs. I’m currently working with a welcoming primary school in Chadwell St Mary who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a Year 6 classroom.

This is a classroom-based role supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, helping them stay engaged with learning, preparing for SATs, and building confidence before moving on to secondary school. You will also assist the class teacher with learning activities and help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment. Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting


  • A calm, patient and supportive approach


  • Confidence supporting learning and behaviour in the classroom


  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils


  • A reliable and professional attitude


  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
