Summary
The post will be based in the Department of HANS Homerton Anogenital Neoplasia Service within the subspecialty of General and Benign Colorectal Surgery and located in the Sexual Health Department with which it is closely aligned. The post involves supporting the supervising consultants in HANS in the full spectrum of anal neoplasia clinical activity including main theatres, day surgery theatres and High Resolution Anoscopy diagnostic and treatment clinics based at Clifden House. It is envisioned that the successful candidate will play an active role in improving the HANS service for patients alongside consultants, managers, and the wider hospital team. Experience in quality improvement would be desirable, but training can be provided within the Trust. As an employee of the Trust the post-holder will work in close co-operation with and support other clinical, medical, professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality, safe health care to patients.
