Summary
Chetham’s seeks a full time Housekeeping Manager to lead the team to ensure the provision of an effective, high standard service to Chetham’s.
Located in the heart of Manchester, Chetham’s is a truly magical place. It is home to the UK’s largest specialist music school, the oldest public library in the English-speaking world, and The Stoller Hall – a world-class concert venue. Together, these form a unique centre of musical excellence, heritage, and learning.
The Role
The role is 35 hours per week, some flexible working, with occasional evenings and weekends
The purpose of the role will be to provide an efficient, pro-active and organised domestic, cleaning and operational service to Chetham’s.
Leadership and management of the team of Domestic Supervisors, Team Leaders, Porters, Laundry staff and Domestic Assistants in the day-to-day delivery of cleanliness and hygiene across the school will be required with the support of the Deputy Housekeeping Manager.
The team works year-round, Monday to Sunday.

Salary of £35,876.30 (SCP 26 – SCP 28).
On-site parking (subject to availability).
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
