Summary

Trust Procurement Leader

Grade 4 - £38 220 - £41 771

Banked Hours plus 2 weeks

12 Month fixed term

Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) is a forward-thinking Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) committed to enabling school leaders to focus on delivering excellence in teaching, learning, and standards. To support this mission, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Trust Procurement Leader to oversee and develop our procurement function across the Trust. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to play a pivotal role in safeguarding the Trust through effective procurement and contract management.

You will lead procurement strategies across all categories, support schools in sourcing supplies and negotiating contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities. The role ensures procurement aligns with Trust policies and external regulations, promotes ethical practices, and involves close collaboration with finance on budgeting and reporting. Strong working relationships across the Trust and with external stakeholders are essential, along with a commitment to professional development. The ideal candidate will have proven procurement experience, excellent negotiation and communication skills, a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, and sound knowledge of procurement regulations.
