Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Animal Management Lecturer to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team on a full time basis. This is a fixed term role working from the 1st of May2026 until the 30th of June 2027.
The role pays from T1 £31,133 up to T11 £44,841 dependent on experience and qualifications.
Animal Management Lecturer
The successful applicant will possess the ability to deliver a diverse range of practical and theoretical subjects, including animal behaviour, biology, health, feeding, and accommodation, across both L2 and L3 provisions. Ideally, you will have experience teaching and assessing with various awarding bodies, such as BTEC and City and Guilds. Creativity and inclusivity are crucial, as you will be engaging with a broad range of learners. Therefore, we seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and versatile lecturer with a proven track record in further education. Alongside teaching duties, you will also take on course tutorship, requiring a full commitment to supporting students throughout their college journey and into employment or further studies.
You should ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject area and have demonstrable experience working with animals in industry. A teaching qualification is preferred, and qualifications in assessing learning and internal verification are advantageous.
