Crynodeb
The Best Connection are looking to recruit a Factory Supervisor/Manager to join our clients food manufacturing facility based near Howden. This is initially a temporary position but it is with a view to go permanent, following a successful probation period.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To manage the factory labour force.
- Ensure the entire team, observes Health, Safety and Food hygiene regulations and practices.
- Reporting to and assisting the Senior Manager with the general day to day running of the Factory.
- Reporting and documenting of all factory based processes and events.
- Control rotas and ensure continued workflow across the team.
- Monitor output of finished components.
- Quality control.
- Receive the production plan sheets and allocate to the chosen teams / operatives.
- Ensure that the Factory Management Plan is adhered to including general tidiness, pedestrian and vehicular barriers, walkways, loading and storage areas.
- General maintenance of the factory and office including external areas and gates, reporting any issues.
- Record and register Accidents and near misses
- Assist with Audits
- Carry out and record site inductions
- Maintain the PPE register
- Produce Plant and Material records / deliveries
- QA works, snagging and back snagging
Salary and Benefits:
