Summary
Nursery Room Leader Level 3 – 40 Hours – Up to £30,300
You will lead a vibrant room, delivering the activities and lessons that blend EYFS and child-led play, and support children as their learning environments evolve towards more structured pre-school routines.
The nursery is based in a converted house with age-specific rooms equipped with play furniture and a broad range of educational resources. Outdoor learning is built into the day, with a large garden and playground.
Before You Apply

- You must have recent experience leading a room or team in a nursery setting.

What You’ll Need
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Proven room leadership experience in a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development stages
- Ability to lead staff, maintain room standards, and manage daily operations
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid certification
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a room team to deliver high-quality EYFS practice
- Plan and deliver a balanced mix of child-led and adult-led learning
- Oversee room routines, transitions, and daily organisation
- Monitor and record children’s development and progress
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene standards are met
- Communicate with parents and support smooth transitions between rooms
