Field Service Engineer – Coffee Machines, Central London (Walking Route), £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
My client is looking to hire a Walking Route Coffee Service Engineer to look after coffee machines across central London entirely on foot and public transport. You’ll manage your own patch, visit some of London’s most prestigious offices and landmarks, and stay active while doing meaningful, skilled work.
This is not a van role. No driving. No congestion. Just great coffee, great customers, and a job that keeps you moving.
Role: -
• Walking a defined central London route servicing commercial coffee machines.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, deep cleans, and courtesy visits.
• Diagnosing and fixing faults on bean-to-cup and traditional coffee machines.
• Being the friendly, familiar face clients trust on site.
• Completing service reports via mobile systems.
Positive takes: -
• 10,000–15,000 steps per day built into your working life.
• Fixed walking route – get to know your sites and customers.
• Early finish every day.
• No van, no fuel costs, no parking stress.
Working hours: -
Monday to Friday – 6:00am – 3:00pm (1-hour break included)
Requirements: -
• Experience with commercial coffee machines (Cimbali, WMF, Coffetek, or similar).
• Strong fault-finding and practical skills.
• Comfortable working independently across a city route.
• Customer-focused and approachable.
• Happy in an active, physical role.
What you’ll get: -
• Company travel card (usable at weekends).
• Phone, uniform, tools provided.
• Ongoing training and development.
• Pension scheme.
• A job that genuinely supports fitness and wellbeing.
To apply for this opportunity, you must be living in the United Kingdom with full leave to remain as sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
