Your Role As Our Facilities Assistant
Daily facility site welfare checks (all toilet areas stocked, beverage areas refilled, water trays & dishwashers emptied).
Clear debris from bin store into the skip. ensure all external site is swept and clear of all debris, paper and weeds.
Tidy of external site areas, light pruning of hedges etc.
Fleet management and monitoring. Uphold vehicle traffic of the site. Ensure the spare vans on site are empty, cleaned and prepared for use. Dropping off and collection of vans from various sites. Ensure the van wash & air pump is working, refill with fuel, soap.
Overseeing the monitoring, distribution and recording of all plant equipment.
Any minor site repairs (toilet seats, putting up notice boards/shelves, lock change, light painting etc. Reporting of any site issues to appropriate personnel.
Assist, prepare and ensure facilities in meeting rooms are suitable and comfortable for personnel and visitors.
Complete weekly site compliance checks and record through relevant channels.
Provide administrative support for maintenance works. Clean internal glass partitions. Undertake such additional duties as a reasonably commensurate with the level of post
What We Need from You.
Good level of education. To be competent in all aspects of Microsoft office and have good organisational skills. Driving Licence is essential. Experience working within the social housing sector (desirable). Demonstrated ability to improve service and performance and be capable of using IT systems, including Microsoft Office software in particular Outlook, Word & Excell.
