Summary

Key Responsibilities
Menu & Recipe Development: Plan menus, create new dishes, and keep up with food trends.

Food Preparation & Quality: Prepare and cook food to high standards, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and portion size.

Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, manage staff schedules, and ensure timely service.

Staff Supervision & Training: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.

Inventory & Cost Control: Manage stock, inspect deliveries, minimize waste, order supplies, and control food costs.

Hygiene & Safety: Enforce strict food safety, sanitation (HACCP), and health & safety regulations.

Supplier & Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with food distributors and resolve issues promptly.
