Sideloader Operator

We are currently recruiting for Mobile Plant Operators to join our team within our Sawn Timber Yard at our Carlisle mill. As a
Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the yard, working both within a team and
individually.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Sideloader Operator may include:
* Movement of sawn timber from sawmill to stock locations around the site.
* Operation of a Side Loader & other mobile plant vehicles.
* Scanning timber packs to determine stock and log positions.
About you:
We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals who are focused and have the ability to meet deadlines.
In addition, you’ll have;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
* Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
* Experience operating mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training is provided.
* Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
* Full driving license.
