Summary

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth, efficient, and safe day-to-day running of both Practices within Godolphin Health. This includes supervising the management of administrative and support staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, overseeing budgets and financial performance, and maintaining high standards of patient care and service. Key responsibilities typically include - Overseeing Operational Management. Coordinating daily activities, scheduling, and workflow. Overseeing Staff Leadership. Recruiting, training, and supporting staff to deliver quality care. Financial Oversight. Managing budgets and resource allocation. Overseeing Payroll. Compliance & Governance.Ensuring adherence to NHS policies, legal requirements, and quality standards. Patient Experience. Maintaining excellent communication and service for patients. Primary Care Network (PCN). Playing a crucial role in liaising with the PCN to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services. This involves - Coordinating services. The Practice Manager works closely with the PCN to coordinate the services provided by the Practice and other healthcare providers within the Network. Managing the workforce. They oversee the recruitment, retention and development of staff within the Network to ensure a skilled workforce. Supporting clinical teams. The Practice Manager provides support to clinical teams to enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes. Aligning goals. They build strong relationships with practice managers and clinical leads to align goals and share best practices. Managing budgets. The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the budget of the practice within the PCN to ensure resources are allocated effectively. The Practice Manager's role is essential in ensuring that the practice operates smoothly within the PCN and contributes to the overall success of the Network.
