Early Years Practitioner
Location: Otley
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time Available (Flexible Hours)
Are you a qualified childcare professional who believes that "warm hugs" and "imaginary tea parties" are just as important as EYFS tracking? We are representing a charming, independent nursery in Otley that prides itself on an inclusive, family-like culture where every voice is heard.
The Role
We are looking for passionate practitioners to join a small, dedicated team. Whether you are looking for a full 4-day week (36 hours) or a flexible job-share (morning or afternoon shifts), this nursery offers a stable, fixed schedule to help you maintain a great work-life balance.
Key Requirements:
Qualification: Minimum Level 2 in Childcare, Learning, and Development.
The "Must-Haves": A loving personality, a high level of imagination, and the ability to keep a keen eye on fast-moving little ones.
Mindset: A genuine love for early years development and a desire to be part of a supportive "work family."
Pay & Benefits
Competitive Hourly Rate: Highly competitive pay with scheduled annual increases.
Health & Wellbeing: Enrolment in a healthcare cash-back scheme (following probation).
Subsidised Meals: Enjoy fresh, home-cooked lunches daily for a small nominal fee.
Flexibility: A truly supportive environment that accommodates ad-hoc family commitments (nativity plays, appointments, etc.).
World-Class Training & Development
This nursery is committed to excellence. You won't just be "working"; you’ll be growing.
Specialist Workshops: Access to training from renowned industry experts (including "In The Moment Planning" specialists).
Professional Growth: Regular sessions on Makaton, Speech & Language, Safeguarding, and SEND.
Consistent Support: Full induction and regular 1-to-1 supervision with your line manager.
